Terms of Use
The ground rules for playing PickleBash.

1. Your agreement with us
These Terms of Use govern your use of PickleBash, including picklebash.app, our game, mobile app, and related services, operated by Automatica Labs, LLC, based in Texas, United States ("PickleBash," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Contact us at poppy@picklebash.app.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required by local law to use PickleBash. If you are below the age of legal adulthood where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and supervise your use. You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Guest progress and local saves may be lost if you clear storage, change devices, or do not link an account.
3. Permission to play
Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use PickleBash for lawful, non-commercial entertainment. We and our licensors retain rights in the game, artwork, software, branding, and other service content. You may share ordinary gameplay screenshots and clips, provided you respect other people’s rights and do not imply our endorsement. These Terms do not restrict rights that applicable law makes non-waivable.
4. Fair play and acceptable use
Do not cheat, exploit bugs for unfair advantage, manipulate matches or purchases, impersonate others, harass or threaten players, publish unlawful or infringing content, disclose someone else’s private information without permission, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, disrupt the service, or bypass access controls. Do not scrape private player information, sell accounts, or use the service for unauthorized commercial activity. Reverse engineering is prohibited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Report harmful content or security concerns using our contact email.
5. Player content and sharing
You retain any rights you have in content you submit. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display, and share that content as reasonably needed to operate the features you use, provide support, and protect the service. This license lasts while those purposes require the content, including lawful retention and copies you have shared with others. You must have the necessary rights and permissions for what you submit. Player names, community content, cards, match summaries, and share links may be visible to others according to the feature. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law. Feedback you send may be used to improve the service without an obligation to compensate you.
6. Game results and coaching
PickleBash is a game. Simulated results, skill ratings, opponents, coaching, and reports may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not promises about real-world performance. Coaching is for general entertainment and learning, not medical or professional advice. Features, balancing, and presentation may change. We do not guarantee particular results, continuous availability, or that every game or local save can be recovered.
7. Optional purchases and cosmetic packs
Where offered, cosmetic packs are optional one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions. Core gameplay is free. Each offer describes its included content and price before checkout; local pricing and taxes may vary. A pack grants a personal license to its included digital content and has no scheduled expiration while that content and the service remain available. It is not ownership of intellectual property, a cash balance, or a guarantee the service will run forever. Cosmetic packs do not buy stronger competitive skills or access to coaching reports. The Everything pack includes exactly the three V1 packs: Style, Court, and Fun. It does not automatically include future packs. Its displayed price is not reduced by previous individual-pack purchases; once you own all three V1 packs, the Everything offer is disabled. Only content offered for sale in the current store can be purchased.
8. Payments, restoration, and refunds
You must have authority to use the payment method, and minors need their parent or guardian’s permission. Apple purchases are subject to the applicable App Store payment and refund rules. Web purchases use Stripe-hosted checkout. Verified purchases are associated with the PickleBash account used for the purchase; use that account across devices and, on iOS, use Restore Purchases where available. Purchases are not transferable between unrelated accounts. A refund, payment reversal, or revocation may remove the access supplied by that transaction, subject to applicable law; a separate valid purchase can still preserve access. Complimentary access is distinct from a paid purchase. For Apple refunds, use Apple’s refund process; for web purchase issues, contact poppy@picklebash.app. Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory cancellation, refund, warranty, or consumer rights. These Terms do not themselves authorize a charge or activate purchases.
9. Availability, suspension, and ending use
You may stop using PickleBash at any time and request permanent account deletion from Profile. Requests are processed within 30 days. For help, contact poppy@picklebash.app. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for violations, security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations, and will provide notice and an opportunity to respond when appropriate. We may modify or discontinue features or the service, with notice where reasonably practicable and as required by law. If a change materially affects purchased content, any remedies required by applicable law remain available. Deleting your account may make game history and purchases inaccessible; uninstalling alone does not delete your account.
10. Third-party services and Apple terms
Third-party platforms, payment services, and linked sites have their own terms. For the iOS app, this agreement is between you and PickleBash, not Apple. Apple does not provide maintenance or support for PickleBash and is not responsible for handling claims about the app or its content. Your app license is limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s usage rules. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund its purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. We are responsible for addressing applicable product, legal, and intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the applicable provisions. You must comply with applicable third-party agreements and export or sanctions laws, including restrictions on prohibited jurisdictions and restricted parties.
11. Disclaimers and limits on liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To that same extent, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages or lost profits arising from use of the service. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Disputes and other legal terms
Please contact poppy@picklebash.app first so we can try to resolve a concern informally; this does not prevent you from exercising legal rights or filing a claim. Applicable law determines the governing law and the courts with jurisdiction. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and any applicable offer terms form the agreement for the service; mandatory consumer protections prevail over inconsistent terms.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and give notice of material changes and obtain agreement where required by law. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights that have already accrued. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the service. You can always find the current version at picklebash.app/tos.
